Jurnee joined UCF Victim Services in 2022 but has previous experience in advocacy. She has training in Victim Assistance and is passionate about ensuring victim’s voices are heard, supported, and empowered. She works, trains, and is constantly seeking educational opportunities to create a comforting space for victims to share their stories in confidence without shame or fear. Jurnee has previously served the Homeless/At-Risk population where she has been able to advocate for families for fair and adequate housing. Jurnee is a University of Central Florida alumna where she graduated with her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and double minored in Nonprofit Management and Medical Sociology and most recently, her Masters of Social Work (MSW). Outside of the office, Jurnee loves traveling, anything Princess Tiana or butterfly themed, drinking Dunkin’ iced coffee, and spending time with family and friends.
