Laura is dedicated to making UCF the safest institution for all students, faculty, staff and visitors. Laura has been in the field of higher education for over 8 years, serving in a variety of roles including Housing and Residence Life, Orientation, Civic Engagement, Academic Advising, and Victim Services. She is a member of the Florida Crisis Response Team and a certified Victim Services Practitioner through the State of Florida Attorney General’s Office. Laura received her Bachelor’s Degree from Towson University and holds a Master’s in Higher Education from UCF. Laura recently received her Doctorate in Higher Education from FSU and seeks to continue research in the victim advocacy and higher education fields. In her spare time, Laura trains for her upcoming powerlifting meets, adventures in the theme parks, catches up on the latest anime, and spends time with her dog, Sprinkles.
