Lauren joined UCF Victim Services in 2023. She previously worked at Safe House of Seminole as a Victim Advocate providing support and resources to individuals impacted by domestic violence. She is excited to continue to grow in her knowledge of supporting victims and to help those in need in the UCF community. Lauren is passionate about being a safe space for others to share their experiences and working alongside the victim to empower them and help them find the resource they need. Lauren graduated from the University of Texas A&M University – Texarkana with her bachelors in psychology in August of 2021. She is currently working towards her masters in clinical mental health counseling at UCF. When off-work, Lauren enjoys taking her dog Tulip to the beach, trying out new recipes, volunteering at church, and learning how to quilt.
